Why I Wrote Anchored: Because We Need Unshakeable Faith in an Unsteady World

Let’s be honest—our world feels loud, unstable, and increasingly hostile to biblical truth. Every week I sit with women who feel the pressure. Moms worried about their kids. Young adults sorting through cultural noise. Faithful believers wondering how to stand firm when everything around them seems to shift.

And in the middle of all this, the Lord kept drawing my heart back to one man: the Apostle Peter.

Studying Peter’s life has shaped my own walk with Jesus more than almost anything else. Peter taught me what it means to follow Jesus in the real world—in the pressure, in the confusion, and yes, even in the moments of failure. He wasn’t polished or perfect, but he was devoted. He stumbled, he repented, he rose again… and he anchored his life to Christ.

As I dug into his life and his letters, I realized: this is exactly the message the Church needs right now.

Peter wrote to believers who were facing rising hostility and cultural confusion. Sound familiar? Yet his voice is steady and strong. He calls us to courage. He calls us to clarity. He calls us to a faith firmly rooted in Jesus—the Living Hope who never shifts, never fails, and never abandons His people.

That conviction is what gave birth to Anchored: The Life & Letters of the Apostle Peter.
I wrote this study because I believe women today need the same truth the early church needed: our foundation is Christ, and when we build our lives on Him, we will not be moved.

My prayer is that Anchored becomes a rallying point for women who refuse to drift with the cultural current, but choose instead to follow Jesus with bold, joyful obedience.
